From seedlings to the show ring, Toombs County High School CTAE students continue to excel.
Mrs. Knight’s Forestry Class took advantage of the warmer weather last week and planted Pond Pine Seedlings behind the school. Students have been learning about reforestation, taking notes and watching videos on how to start and maintain a healthy pine stand.
In addition, Mrs. Knight’s Ag Mechanics & Mrs. Jackson’s Animal Science students have weighed-in pigs and helped set them up for blood testing. These students are preparing for the Local Hog Show, February 12th at 6:00PM at the Toombs County Ag Center. Mark your calendars and join us!
