Rescheduled for MONDAY!

After careful consideration and for the safety of our staff, students, and community we are cancelling school on Friday, May 10th. Our community still has widespread power outages and expects more storms tomorrow. We feel it is simply not safe to have school transportation to be on the roads tomorrow. We will be back to normal school operations on Monday, May 13th.
Stay Safe.

Tonight, TCES' retirees were recognized: Mrs. Lorie Tillman and Mrs. Ginger Harrison. Congratulations also to Mrs. Sandra Floyd on her retirement. Thank you for your years of service and for helping TCES #shine!

Toombs County Schools will delay dismissal to 3 PM to allow buses to get in place. Thank you parents for being patient and understanding of this severe weather delay. Students may be later than normal getting home.

Check out the tents at TCES Field Day to learn about family summer resources!

TCES' Field Day is still scheduled to take place on Friday, May 10th at the Toombs County Recreation Department's Football Field.
Safety of all in attendance is of utmost priority, yet the lack of school days left this year prevent rescheduling. End of the year preparations are already taking place in the school's gym so we will have as many events as we can outdoors, weather permitting.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to a fun day with students, rain or shine!

TCES students who are a part of the Adventure Based Counseling (ABC) Group enjoyed their end of the year reward, today! They created personal pizzas at Hardware Pizza, had dessert at Scoops, and topped the afternoon off with fun and games at Partin Park.

Thank you to Brown Realty and Brown Insurance Group for bringing the Scoops Ice Cream Truck to TCES for our faculty and staff! Coach Jarriel, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Bateman also won some fabulous door prizes.
