Water is back on at all Toombs County Schools.
Important Message: The Toombs County Schools were notified that the city of Lyons had a major water leak that needed repair. We were informed that our schools would not be affected by the repairs. Unexpectedly, all 4 of our schools in town are now without water. We have been informed that the water should be back on soon.

TCES 2nd graders have been studying States of Matter in Science recently. Students worked with Mrs. Bateman, Ms. Kelley, and Mrs. Davis to perform an experiment yesterday that allowed students to observe a solid, liquid, and gas working together. They had a blast making a real life connection as they observed the gas expanding inside its container by combining Alka-Seltzer and water. #shine #brightertogether #stingingwithsuccess

Mrs. Bateman's classes began Guided Math Rotations this week to review previously taught skills. Students reviewed their current math standard by building a pictograph and later a bar graph based on their Skittles data. The students collaborated by sharing their data, creating questions, and presenting their findings based on their Skittle graphs. #shine #brightertogether #stingingwithsuccess
