After careful consideration and for the safety of our staff, students, and community we are cancelling school on Friday, May 10th. Our community still has widespread power outages and expects more storms tomorrow. We feel it is simply not safe to have school transportation to be on the roads tomorrow. We will be back to normal school operations on Monday, May 13th.
Stay Safe.

Toombs County Schools will delay dismissal to 3 PM to allow buses to get in place. Thank you parents for being patient and understanding of this severe weather delay. Students may be later than normal getting home.

Reminder:
Today is the last day to write a note to our Toombs 2024 Graduates.
Use this link to send a note to graduates you know: https://forms.gle/d4rVKm6sw26WDty79.
These letters will be printed and given to graduates during graduation practice.

Join us for the Toombs County High School Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 7th at 7 PM in the TCHS auditorium. Admission is free, and awards will be handed out after the performance.

The last day for the Toombs County Afterschool Program will be Thursday, May 2.

Please join TCHS in honoring the Class of 2024 by writing an encouraging congratulatory note to graduates you know.
Click on the link below to be directed to the Google Form. You can submit as many forms as you like for students on the list. Once this form is completed, it prints out as an actual letter to each student when we print them at the school to put in their packets. These will be given to all Seniors on their graduation practice day in May. The deadline for submitting letters is May 9th, 2024, so please submit forms to as many students from our graduating class as you would like. This process is simple and easy. If you prefer to mail or hand deliver them to the high school, see the directions below. Thank you for supporting our Senior Class of 2024!

Senior Memory Letters can be dropped off at the TCHS front office through May 9th, 2024. A drop box has been placed in the front office. ALL letters must be given ONLY to the front office or mailed to Melissa Batton at TCHS to ensure proper collection and distribution of the letters so that all students receive their complete packet at graduation practice.
If you want to mail the letters instead of bringing them to the school office, you can.
Letters can be mailed to:
Toombs County High School
Senior Memory Letter

Don't miss it! Little Women The Musical @ Toombs County High School on May 3 & 4 (6pm) - $5 admission

At the request of the Lyons Police Department:
If traveling North on Bulldog Road in the morning after dropping off your child(ren) at school, we ask that you use the intersection of Hwy 280 and Bulldog Road if wanting to turn left toward Vidalia.
Left turns onto Parker Street from Bulldog Road cause traffic to back up on Bulldog Road.
By following the directions of the LPD Officers, we can keep our morning traffic running smoothly.
Thank you in advance for your help.

The TCMS Afterschool Program has been cancelled today (4/25/2024). TCMS afterschool students are being transported home via bus or will call parents for pickup.
