Last week our anatomy students completed two different labs. The first lab was to learn about some of the sensory qualities that we possess. In the second lab, students learned parts of the eye using a similar mammal, the cow eye. #tchsshine

The Greater Vidalia® Youth Leadership Class of 2023-2024 was celebrated last evening at Lyons First Baptist Church.
Student teams presented on what they learned about during the program. Throughout the program the students learn about different business sectors in our community such as: Agriculture, Economic Development, and Healthcare and Community Services as well as develop themselves in sessions titled Orientation, Professional Development, and Putting Your Best Foot Forward.

Imago Dei Missions provides cost-free clothing and essentials to foster, adoptive, kinship, and guardianship families. Families are asked to bring a copy of their appropriate paperwork to verify eligibility on their 1st visit. March hours are listed on the attached flyer.


Mark your calendars - Round 'Em Up Fishing Rodeo is April 6 from 8:00am-Noon @ the pond behind LUES. It's open to ages 15 & under and the child must be accompanied by an adult (18+). There will be prizes, snacks & refreshments. See the graphic for more info about what to bring.

Early Release Day - March 7 @ 11:30 AM History has been made! For the first time in school history, the Toombs County Bulldog Basketball team will travel Thursday, March 7 to the Macon Coliseum to play at 3:00 PM for the 2024 GHSA AA State Championship! All Toombs County Schools will release at 11:30 AM on March 7, 2024 to allow sufficient time for our dedicated fans to travel to the State Championship game. All students will be served lunch before dismissal. If your child is a car rider, please make sure you or someone on the pick-up list is at the school to pick him/her up at 11:30 AM. If your child is a bus rider, please make sure someone is at your residence shortly after 11:30 AM to receive your child off of the bus. We will resume normal school hours on Friday, March 8.

Reminder! There is a dual enrollment meeting tonight at 5:45 at TCHS for any current 10th and 11th grade students that are interested in Dual Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year. This is for students that have never participated in dual enrollment. If you are unable to attend students can pick up packets starting tomorrow morning in the front office.
