Stillmore-based food packing company, Crider Foods just launched their annual ‘Teacher Pay It Forward’ program. This year, the company will select thirteen exceptional teachers from Emanuel, Candler, Bulloch, and Toombs counties schools to receive $1500 in school supplies each. This program accepts nominations from PreK-12 grades. Everyone is invited to nominate a teacher that deserves recognition for going above and beyond.

This week Ms. Jordan Robins visited the TCMS Career classes to talk with students about Trane. She shared a virtual tour of the facility, showing some of the processes of turning unfinished materials into the commercial heating and air conditioning units that we depend upon to keep us comfortable. Ms. Robins discussed the many benefits of employment with Trane and the work ethics that all employers look for in employees.

Toombs County Middle School recently entered into a lockdown as a precaution when a visitor to campus entered an unauthorized area. The individual was apprehended and placed into custody by our School Resource Officer. At no time were the students or staff members in harm's way. Toombs County Middle School has returned to normal operations.
